Erdoğan offers condolences to Merkel for mothers death

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on April 12 offered condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her mother's death.       

Erdoğan conveyed his condolences in a telephone call in which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations.       

Herlind Kasner died Thursday at the age of 90.
